Museums, Schools, LIbraries and Camps

The Grand Falloons came together to create educational and thematic theatrics for museums and schools across the United States. We started through a series of annual works commissioned by the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. There we have made such esoteric exhibits as "Cèzanne's Effect on the Academic Nature of American Art in The 1920's," not only accessible, but also exhilarating to kids, families and school groups!

The Grand Falloons offer museums the possibility of a Falloon ensemble performance or of working with their educational outreach departments to create original performances with groups of children or young adults that come to the museum from schools, camps, or the surrounding community.

In this capacity we have worked with children from homeless shelters, from the Salvation Army and with children from schools that can afford no other arts education for their population. In these productions, the participating children get to perform alongside the Grand Falloons professionals. To accommodate the sponsoring organization's schedule, we often have only one to two weeks to teach the children the skills of the show, build props and costumes with them, and incorporate them into the performance.

The Falloons specialize in educational projects in Fine Arts, History and Science. Our workshops include Acting and Clown, Juggling, Stilts and Magic, Mask-making, Puppetry, Movement Theatre, Mime, Design, and Music for the Theatre.
